Do I need Paypal to buy an item?
Our store uses PayPal to process debit and credit card payments. During the payment process you may be given the option to create a PayPal account, however
a PayPal account is not required to shop at finestgames.
You may need to enter your credit card details into Paypal, which will in turn safely secure them.
Bank account payments: If you have a PayPal account it is possible to pay with funds in your bank account, but there is a delay of several business days for all bank account payments (referred to as 'PayPal eCheck').
What do I need to do to order?
When you order, we will require your name, address, e-mail address and your credit/debit card details. This information will allow us to process your request & notify you of acceptance of your order.
A contact telephone number may also be required so that we can contact you if there is a problem with your order.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Polly’s will take place on the despatch of the products ordered by you, unless we have notified you that we are not able to process your order. There are several reasons that we might not be able to process your order:-
- The product you ordered is currently out of stock.
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
- You do not fulfil the requirements to be eligible to place an order. Please see 'Refusal of Transaction' below.
We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our Website.
Can I cancel my order?
We are happy to accept cancellation of your order within 7 days of receipt. The item must be unused and in original packaging. Please note that once an order has been processed we issue a confirmation email.
What about the description?
Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered into the system. Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order. We have taken great care to ensure that the reproduction of colour is as accurate as possible. However, due to the photographic process some slight variations may occur.
How do I pay?
Payment should be made within 24 hours of purchase via Paypal. We may occasionally be able to do cash on collection, but not on every item. Please get permission from the Paypal account holder before you send funds to us.
Where's my item?
Occasionally, your item may get delayed in the post, if this happens, please let us know. It will usually arrive next day, however, sometimes Royal Mail get a little clogged up and may take a bit longer to deliver your item.
In the unlikely event that your item does not arrive, you will need you to allow up to 15 working days after the item was dispatched before Royal Mail classifies the item as lost. We will then submit a P58 claim form, which can take up to 28 days to process. Please understand these are Royal Mail's rules, not ours. For preorders, please allow up to 10 days after the date in the listing for your order to arrive as release dates are subject to change. In this event you will be notified via email with the new release date and the offer to get a full refund if you decide you do not wish to wait.
